The two large tables with chairs on the upper floor terrace are complemented by several loungers. Your view from here of the Rhine valley and 100 metre high rock face on the opposite bank is simply stupendous.
Flow Form Cascades
Three distinct FLOW FORM cascade water features by English artist John Wilkes are installed next to the house. The water from the stream running across the property is enhanced as it flows in lemniscate patterns through the FLOW FORM basins integrated within the stream.
Woods on the Property
The 5 hectare property is maintained according to “Permaculture” guidelines. Various pools and ponds containing a variety of aquatic plants were created and numerous fruit trees and berry bushes planted. The villa’s own woods begins on the slopes next the rock face directly behind the house. It also features terraces set out with various fruit trees.
Sweeping Rhine Valley Panorama
Looming over St. Goar is the largest and most impressive of the Rhine Valley castle ruins – the “Rheinfels” with its labyrinth of subterranean tunnels, which all guests should visit.
